Houses & Colours

Each child is designated a House upon enrolling at the school and siblings are placed in the same house team. House Leaders  are selected by written application to the PE teachers.   House responsibilities are articulated to the students through appropriate avenues, including assemblies, class discussions, house meetings, etc.  We have four Houses , they are:

Our Houses are named after four famous Australian artists from The Heidelberg School, an Australian art movement in the late 19th Century.  The movement has latterly been described as Australian Impressionism.  The artist’s names are Arthur Boyd, Frederick McCubbin, Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton. The work from these artists are famous, not only for their merits as compositions, but as part of Australia's historical record.
