Book Club
Scholastic Book Club brochures are distributed six times a year and parents and students are able to order from an extensive range of fiction and non-fiction books for all year levels.
English as a Second Language
The ‘English as a Second Language’ (ESL) program is part of our overall Literacy program at Milgate.
House Sport
The students in Level 3 and 4 participate in our annual House Sports, which are House Swimming and Athletics Carnivals.
Instrumental Music
Students at Milgate have many opportunities to pursue their interest in playing a musical instrument.
Interschool Sports
All students have a sport session each week, which is run on rotational basis by the classroom teachers.
Library Specialist
Milgate Primary School Resource Centre provides students, teachers and the school community with a service that enriches and supports all educational programs through the efficient and effective organisation of quality learning resources.
Outdoor Education
The Outdoor Education program at Milgate PS introduces students to, and progressively develops skills in camping, adventure activities and social interaction.
Performing Arts
All students at Milgate enjoy singing, dancing, playing instruments and listening to music when they participate in their fortnightly Performing Arts session.
Physical Education
All students from Prep to Year 6 participate in a weekly Physical Education session run by a Physical Education Specialist.
Visual Arts
The Visual Arts program aims to provide opportunities for all students to think creatively and express their thoughts and feelings in a visual format.
