Milgate PS named as International Baccalaureate PYP Candidate School

Milgate Primary School is a candidate school* for the Primary Years Programme. We are now pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Milgate Primary School believes is important for our students.
 
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme (and in addition the IB Career-related Certificate).  Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

Milgate PS selected as a Creating A Safe Supportive Environment (CASSE) Pilot School

CASSE (Creating A Safe Supportive Environment) is dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments, through psychoanalytic understanding of of conflict, bullying and violence. CASSE  is a whole school approach which aims over time to engage the active participation of staff, students, parents and the broader community to maximize its success and sustainability.
